Greatest strength of Free Electron Laser lies in its continuous adjustable frequency,its basic working principle is very simple,the output frequency of FEL is determined bythe Electron beam energy directly, so the Free Electron Laser can produce highfrequency electromagnetic wave, can even produce soft X-ray, which is othermicrowave tube slow-wave structure can not reach. Although the free electron laserworldwide research has experienced the period, but with the development of the relateddisciplines breakthrough, free electron laser has raised a hot wave of study in all overthe world. This paper has studied aimed at FEL.Free electron laser correlation analysis involves many disciplines, theoreticalderivation and the formula is quite complicated, this article try to introduce glycoproteinFEL with concise method works, avoid cumbersome formula is derived. FEL relateddomestic research focuses on the theoretical analysis and a one-dimensional simulation.By three dimensional program Genesis1.3under steady state and time varying FEL hascarried on the simulation, focuses on the free electron laser beam quality affect theperformance of FEL.Application of3D simulation software Genesis1.3within the VUV wavelength onthe free electron laser simulation. We under the condition of the steady state, i.e., notconsidering the influence of the timeline and sliding phenomena, the existence of theelectron beam,We can input energy of electron beam is99.8MeV, divergence is99.8keV, peak current is250A; Wiggler wavelength of2.05mm for planar undulator; Thewavelength of the radiation field of0.844m. We aim at FEL divergence, peak current,electron beam transverse parameters such as size, emittance of FEL performancesimulation analysis, the impact of free electron laser with high gain, the best gaindepends on the electron beam energy and length of the undulator specific options.On time-dependence cases, we consider the influence of time axis and theelectron beam and sliding phenomena exists, then within the visible light wave band onfree electron laser has carried on the simulation, compared the different external beamform affect the performance of glycoprotein FEL access file. At the same time to the same free electron laser in comparative analysis of the static and time-varying cheapunder time-varying due to the slip phenomena exists, the location of the radiation fieldsaturated power was delayed.
