| How to improve the quality of teaching is always the problem that collegeeducationworkers devote to studying and also the pursuit of teaches’ ultimate goal. Carrying outstudent appraisal of teaching is not only beneficial to improve the teaching level, andalso can strengthen the educational administration information management. Student’strue feedback can help teachers know their shortage of teaching process，so they canimprove methods and develop the qualityof teaching in time. Evaluation of teachingactivities is a very significant link since the eighties in China. Since its development inChina,it has always been guided the direction of improving the teaching way.Soestablishing a set of complete teaching evaluation system has always been a work thatthe universities especially pay attention to. Online teaching evaluation system whichestablished relying on computer technology to compare with traditional for teachingevaluation system has more powerful on information collection and processing power.Traditional teaching evaluation generally adopts the "questionnaire" way which randomdraws part of students and issues teaching evaluation questionnaire artificially. Studentsmanual fill in the evaluation of teaching content and staffs manual entry evaluationresults artificially.The number of check sample is limited by time and space by thisway.The statistical analysis is very tedious and can’t ensure fairness and transparency,that leads to the feedback lag problems about evaluation of teaching information, andevaluation of teaching results are not accurate. In recent years, as Web technology andB/S architecture are getting mature and mature day after day, network teachingmanagement has gotten full development and students’ online evaluation of teachinghas become the mainstream of the evaluation of teaching activities.This topic development of NeiJiang vocational-technical college online teachingevaluation system adopts B/S structure with Windows2003server for web server,Microsoft SQL Server2000for background database, IIS6.0, Visual Studio.NET2003and ASP for development platform.Making the system embedded in the educationaladministration management information system to realize the students’ evaluation ofteaching online. Firstly, this paper introduces the system development needs of the various basic theory and methods. Secondly, discusses the system USES developmentmode and introduces the characteristics of ASP and SQL Server powerful datamanagement function. Then taking the demand analysis for the teaching evaluationsystem function, performance, safety and so on and elaborated system overall designand detailed design method. Finally, through the ASPdevelopment practice providing ateaching evaluation system web interface, realizing the teaching evaluation system ofmanagement function, the function of student appraisal of teaching and teachingevaluation results query function. At last, this paper summaries the online teachingevaluation system based on B/S model, points out that the place where can be improved,and presents the development prospects. |
