Design And Implementation Of Teaching Management Information System Of Nankai Community College

Education informatization is an important part of the national economy and socialinformatization. The“985Project”,“211Project” and other major planning andconstruction of the Ministry of education has made our education informatization asignificant progress. In recent years, with the development of teaching reform, teachingmanagement has become the center and hub of the school daily operation. The qualityof teaching management is directly related to the survival and development of theschool in the social competition. Standardization, informationization and networkedteaching management will be the inevitable choice of the development of the school.The establishment and application of educational administration information system thatenhance the school’s teaching management level is a way that must be taken to reformand development the school teaching management.At present, the Nankai Community College has more than5000students with allkinds of education, but there’s only130staff. The workload of teaching andmanagement is very large. The current management mode has been unable toaccommodate the need of modern education, so the teaching managementinformatization construction is imminent. This project aims to solve this problem. Theauthor did almost all the works of this project, from feasibility analysis to theachievement of system.First of all, literature research method is used to investigate and analysis the statusof informatization of education in our country and the university educationaladministration management information system application status. At the same time,combined with the status of educational management of Nankai Community Collegeand the research of technology of educational management information system andbased on the analysis on the feasibility of establishing the system, the design scheme ofthe system has been established. The educational management information system ofNankai Community College has adopted B/S mode, developed on Java EE and usedNetbeans IDE as the system development environment and MYSQL as the back-enddatabase support. Then, the system architecture has been established since the requirements analysisand functional design of the management system were made. The system modeling usesthe unified modeling language UML and mainly faces object-oriented analysis. Basedon the class diagram analysis, the database design draws out each module’s E-Rdiagram in the system, which is combined with the structured analysis method.Finally, the key part in each module is discussed as an example to show theachievement of the system, including the system flow chart, the key codes and somemodule screenshot.This system is developed to fit the specific needs of educational administrationwork of Nankai Community College. After testing the system, the system reaches theexpected design goal and the response of teachers and students who participate in thetest is very good. At present, this set of teaching management system has been partiallyput into use, ever since running stable and can meet the needs of the current schoolteaching management work.
