Research On Pipeline Location And Material Identification Of Shallow Subsurface Ground Pentrating Radar

With the development and progress of society, people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and requirements for old housing have been improved too. With considering the safety of electricity and gas, people need to retrofit them; in today’s society, the high price also let a lot of people are willing to choose the relatively cheap price of second-hand housing in the city. The style of the decoration inside the buildings are out of date, and pipelines also need to rearrange and replacement; as people’s aesthetic improvement, some constructions will be renovated. Particularly high-grade hotels, senior clubs and office buildings will make some renovations in five years, ten years or twenty years.Housing renovation or community reconstruction engineering staff often makes the mistake of judgment of pipeline construction, which brought great trouble and seriously affected the work efficiency. While the field of detecting conditions not so bad, it is easier to obtain accurate detection results. In the detection of this environment, ground penetrating radar automatic target recognition and material identification has great feasibility but also has great application value and economic value.This paper is based on the actual application of residential housing reconstruction and renovation, proposes a portable shallow ground penetrating radar research mentality and the realization method. The main research:the principle of GPR, signal preprocessing, various situations pipeline target detection and recognition, as well as pipelines targeting material judgments.The main work and innovation are described below:1. Discuss the general principles of ground penetrating radar, proposed the idea of the portable shallow ground penetrating radar based on residential remodeling and housing renovation.2. Discussed various ground-penetrating radar clutter suppression method for on-line rapid detection, the actual needs and pretreatment to remove clutter and ground penetrating radar signal forms, a preprocessing is proposed based on B scan. By using the wavelet threshold, and then get rid of the direct wave, then extract the target area. The computation amount is small, and good results have been achieved.3. Discussed the calculation of ground penetrating radar general localization method and the velocity of electromagnetic wave, according to the online detection and computation requirements must be as little as possible, this paper presents a method of automatic positioning of shallow ground penetrating radar detecting target, have achieved very good results.4. According to the actual requirements of the detection, especially the special requirements of the application environment of residential remodeling and renovations material identification based on least squares support vector machine effectively identify metallic and non-metallic pipelines.
