Analysis And Design Of Confirm Request Processing And Fast Association Modules In Wlan Band Navigation

In wireless network environment,when a station that can support monophonic network card or double-frequency network card,can choose to link to2.4ghz,in that case,the stations on2.4ghz can be overloaded,and there is no station working on5Ghz,these can made the two bands loading difference too big,limit the network speed.This subject raised the concept of bandnavigation to resolve this question, so that can let the station supporting double-frequency to choose to work on5GHZ,reduce the loading on2.4GHZ,improve the network visiting speed,optimize the network performance.This subject is main to judge if allow the station to link to network or not to realize the function of bandnavigation.To realize the bandnavigation,the function on AP must open,and there must be station tables,when probe request is coming,find the station table.This paper focus on analysis how to process the probe request send by the station and how to porocess the config of fast association.Before the station connect into the BSS on WLAN AP,it send a probe request,if the request’s type is2.4GHZ,find the station table status on AP,make corresponding processing.if the request’s type is5GHZ,also find the station table status by the MAC address,obviously these two processiong methods are different.Fast association function is one of the judging conditions on if load balance or not.if open fast association,do not conduct any of loadbalance and navigation processing.although this function is single,it is setted on radios,when it’s status changed,the configure will be sent between AC and AP.Fast association is used when the station are moving, it detects wlan AP which it can connect,then if open the bandnavigation,it will delate the connection time between station and AP,so the function of bandnavigation and fast association can not work at the same time.This subject is main to research the load balance function in one AP evironment,navigate the station between the two radios on AP,and the BSS which the station connected to is be on two radios meanwhile.
