Investigation Of Government Social Management Ability Advanced Based On Seek Advice From Netizens On Micro-blog

With Weibo’s fast development, it has a new function that seeks advice rfom Netizens.This is an active connection between government and public to discuss and ifnd out solution ofvarious kinds public issue. It now becomes a new approach to seek advice as a supplement totraditional advice seeking channel. As developing and expanding in using Weibo to seekadvice rfom Netizen，it will improve the democratization in public policy making and diversifychannels to invite people to join governmental issue discussion. All of these have positiveimpact to government’s capability in social management. Therefore, this article is someresearch on how to improve government’s capability in social management by using Weibo toseek advice from Netizens.This article defines what is seeking advice from Netizen on Weibo, and analyses therelationship between social management and seeking advice from netizen on Weibo. Thisarticle points out this approach is a double-edged sword. It beneifts government incountermeasures, interaction with public and social equity. However，government’s socialmanagement capability would be restricted due to ineffective mechanism in seeking advice onWeibo. After analysis, this article provides some guidance on enhancing governmentcredibility and capability in building a democratic and civilized society, anti-corruption, socialassistance, emergency response and network administration.
