With the improvement of living standards, due to the emergence of largeamounts of synthetic craft of superhard materials, the demand for high strength, largeparticles and high-quality diamond is growing rapidly. Cubic press in China is themain artificial diamond equipment and control system has the low degree ofautomation than abroad. And the hydraulic systems, which are conventional andhaving inevitable leakage that makes pressure pulsation through hydraulic pressconstantly refilled oil, are set up based on the seal, throttle control and the principleof positive displacement pump, which affects the synthetic crystal quality. With thedemand being increased rapidly, a large number of high-quality diamond synthesis tobe solved.For the disadvantages of diamond pressure machine hydraulic system, this paperproposes "no valve" electric compensation control strategy of a new press, that is,pressure refilling and maintaining stage, in which each motor was used to controltwo planes of symmetry of the press, is the most important stage for diamondsynthesis to produce ultra-high pressure of high precision which is needed bydiamond hydraulic press, which is handed over the mode of "servo motor+screw+booster piston cylinder". In this paper, based on the electric compensation controlstrategy, the following work was completed:First of all, the power mechanism and load of diamond hydraulic press areanalyzed and the mathematical model of AC servo motor and mechanicaltransmission devices and the pressure maintaining model are built.Secondly, we analyzed the synchronous control method of the multi-channel ormotors and control algorithm. Multi-motor synchronous control technology can bedivided into two types: coupling control mode and non-coupling control mode. At thesame time, an improved coupled synchronous control mode of multi-motor, anaverage deviation coupling synchronous control mode, is put forward. As for thestudy of algorithm of multi-motor synchronization control system, we mainly study on PID control algorithmand and fuzzy PID control algorithm.Furthermore, the simulation of pressure control systerm of diamond hydraulicpress is carried out. In order to achieve the three-channel pressure synchronouscontrol of hydraulic press, the simulation of the single-channel pressure controlsystem is researched; and then the simulation of three-channel pressure synchroniouscontrol systerm is studied.Finally, we set the experimental platform of the diamond hydraulic presspressure synchronous control system, and do the experimental of the diamondhydraulic press with single-channel pressure control and three-channel pressuresynchronious control based on DSP controller. The results showed that pressuresynchronous control system of the diamond press machine has a good anti-jammingperformance, and high control precision. Also the effect of the synchronous controlreached the design requirements basically.
