With the HSUPA technology development, type of information and amount ofdata has been increased. Mobile user demands for transfer rates are constantly growing,leading to Node B side bottleneck for Iub interface bandwidth upstream rate. In the Iubinterface bandwidth-limited situations, how to improve the utilization of its transportproblems, becomes the key to increase the upstream rate.Now a flow control algorithm based on the detection of cache occupancy rate isgenerally used.This paper analyzes the Iub interface traffic analysis and simulationanalysis of this algorithm, however, this algorithm exists some problems. In responseto these issues, this article has made the cache count-based flow control algorithms andflow control algorithm based on probability judgment. Comparing with simulationresults under the same scenario, the cache count-based flow control significantlyreduces the time when congestion occurs in the Iub interface rate shocks and vibrations,makes rates more quickly restore a smooth, and effectively improves the Iub interfacebandwidth utilization. Flow control algorithm based on probability judgment providesa new way to study of flow control algorithm for Iub interface. |
