With the continuous development of wireless communications, spectrum resourcesare becoming scarce, so the spectrum regulatory system of the spectrum monitoring isnow becoming more and more important. Spectrum monitoring systems need to havethe ability to find the location of the wireless signal source or illegal radio stations inorder to improve the spectrum utilization. Wireless sensor network has been widelyused for its flexible, easy-to-use features. Spectrum monitoring systems combined withwireless sensor networks and wireless signal positioning function is the main contentsof this article.Spectrum monitoring system is based on wireless sensor networks. Wireless sensornetwork technology and spectrum monitoring combined with the monitoring activitiesto become more flexible, easier to use, at the same time reflects the wireless sensornetwork technology advanced. This article first analyzes the overall structure of themonitoring system for wireless sensor network spectrum including the physicalconnection between the nodes connected transmission mechanism; description of theoverall structure of the software system is mainly a detailed introduce of the three-tierstructure of the software, and briefly describes the system various functions; completepositioning capabilities of the software design, including the positioning process controland positioning data processing. The positioning process control module firstly analyzethe needs of the positioning function, design the control flow of positioning processcombined with the positioning method and describe the organizational structure of thecontrol module with UML Data processing module is mainly about implementation anddesign of the node recommended methods and the positioning algorithm includesTDOA and RSSI positioning methods. Finally,it’s the system positioning functiontesting and analysis.
