| With modern software development, the importance of software is becomingmore and more prominent, regardless of the enterprise users or personal user, thegrowing demand for software. But the design of software development are not perfect,even there are still quite a few holes; The emergence of the software update is in orderto solve these problems.The traditional c/s mode client software upgrade existing problems are asfollows:1, upgrade the efficiency is low, the maintenance cost high,2, the clientsoftware upgrade the lack of unified standard, upgrade procedure can be aimed at aspecific software. In order to solve the c/s mode client software upgrade of theseproblems, this paper do the following work:1, through the Internet technology clanguage and XML statement to realize the function of the automatic update software,including automatic detection of the latest version, automatic download the update file,automatic backup original software and automatic installation patch. C/s modelsoftware automatic update feature high efficiency, data download speed, the client freemaintenance and high safety advantages;2, will upgrade procedure independentgeneration module, realize the main program to upgrade procedure call realization, andthe different version of the software upgrade complete test. The paper design inWindows system as the client and the server for ubuntu system in local area network,the C language code of the detailed design, to realize the client software in multipleversions upgrade,the upgrade process breakpoint continuingly. The paper designfunction test results, in line with the expected requirement. |
