Electromagnetic Environment simulation technology is widely used in eachdeveloping step of the EW equipment. Electromagnetic environments in battlefield nowappear that much radiant points, big signal density; many systems of radiant point, wavecomplicate; the work frequency of radiant points become wider, many kinds of radiantpoints superpose in the work frequency. General speak, modern electromagneticenvironments are dense, complex, interlaced and changeful. Therefore, the study of theelectromagnetic environment simulation technology is particularly important.The electromagnetic environment of the battlefielded is first analysed in this paper,and the primary radiants are studied in the battlefielded electromagnetic environment.And then some typical pulse radiants are discussed. Combined with the Direct DigitalFrequency Synthesis(DDS), the way of generating radiant signals based on AD9910areintroduced. Secondly, the multi-radiator simulation technology is discussed. And thesimulation indexes are analysed. The design project of electromagnetic environmentsimulator that satisfies the demands is proposed, and the effects of designing thesimulator were demonstrated. On this basis, the critical technologies to implement thesimulator system are studied. The simulator system of DDS that controlled by ARM andFPGA is designed. The simulation technology for implementing communicationradiation, radar radiation and interference signals by AD9910is studied. The concreteprocess of implementing the control interface program using the Qt under ARMembedded Linux system is given.
