Complex electromagnetic environment is a key factor that restricts the effectiveness of all kinds of electronic equipment.In order to improve the detection performance and anti-jamming capability of radar,it is necessary to study the complex electromagnetic environment.The quantitative characterization of complex electromagnetic environment is the primary technical problem for the research of complex electromagnetic environment.According to the logical thinking of "characteristic analysis-qualitative perception-quantitative description-method verification",this paper studies the quantitative characterization method of complex electromagnetic environment for radar equipment.The main work is as follows:An electromagnetic environment perception scheme is perfected.Based on the analysis and simulation of radar electromagnetic environment,the visualization method of abstract electromagnetic environment is studied.Finally,a comprehensive scheme based on hierarchical cognitive model is formed to perceive radar electromagnetic environment,which perceives the electromagnetic environment from five levels.A set of physical parameter sets is presented to quantitatively characterize radar electromagnetic environment.This paper presents several physical parameters that can characterize the radar electromagnetic environment at each level of model.At the same time,in view of the different effects of radar affected by the electromagnetic environment,the research on quantitative description is carried out from two aspects including suppression and deception interference.Finally,in order to verify the effectiveness of the physical parameters proposed,this paper build a radar system simulation model based on Simulink.The effectiveness of the physical parameters is analyzed based on this model,such as the average power spectral density and the spectral overlap.The research in this paper provides an effective technical thinking for the quantitative characterization of radar complex electromagnetic environment,and It is of great significance to carry out the research on the adaptability of radar in complex electromagnetic environment.
