Mobility load balancing(MLB) is one of the hot topic use cases in the LTE self-organizednetwork.It can improve network resource utilization and system throughput.It also can enhancenetwork flexibility.The basic principle of MLB is that in order to achieve load balancing it transferinter-cell load by regulating cell mobility parameters.For the study of mobility load balancingtechnology,the load tranfering has some problems such as objectless and non-equilibrium.To solvethe ablove problems,the paper designs an enhanced moblility load balancing algorithm based on thetarget cell selecion and end threshold,and design simulation platform to verify its performance.Firstly,the paper provides an overview of the background knowledge of LTE,self-organizednetworks and mobility load balancing.We foucus on the X2interface,definition of physical resourcesand users measurement events.Secondly,the paper elaborated traditional load balancing algorithm principle and algorithmprocesses,and summarizes widespread problems of the traditional load balancing algorithm such asthe load tranfering objectless and non-equilibrium.Then,in response to these problems,we have carried out the in-depth analysis and give theenhanced moblility load balancing algorithm based on the target cell selecion and end threshold.Finaly,design the simulation platform to verify the performance of the algorithm andsummarize the the lack of the algorithm and simulation.
