Abstract/Summary:
With more and more widely use of the intelligent application, smart car system has aroused great concern in the study of swarm intelligence research because of its wide distribution, good reliability, robustness advantages. Multi-intelligent car system has better collaboration than a single intelligent vehicle system, which can completes the more complex formations and tasks by the groups. In order to fulfill the Collaboration capabilities between the smart car groups, the system requires wireless communication to exchange the data between the console and MCU. Compared with traditional wired communication, wireless communication can get rid of the constraints of the cable, but there are several issues in the channel transmission bandwidth, quality and security which need to be resolved. So, it’s very useful to design a wireless communication system for mobile multi-smart car.Firstly, this design is the rehearsal project of the excavator data acquisition system based on GSM/GPS. We designed and made three small size smart cars based on the same structure, the limited computing function and as a platform. The platform is compact and practical, can also install a flexible variety of sensors with many extended interfaces.Secondly, for the characteristic of locality information exchange and small amount of data transmission under swarm intelligence computing model, we chose the CC2530wireless micro-power data transmission module, completed the detailed design and the hardware implementation of the module.Thirdly, the ZigBee protocol stack including ZigBee protocol stack architecture and topology of networks is introduced. Specially presented the protocol stacks of data frame type and format of physical layer and MAC sub-layer, data sending and receiving. The important function of the application layer implementation functions is designed according to the requirement of the communication system.Finally, given experimental results of the system, the results show that the system can achieve a one-to-many data transmission, and the multiple mobile smart cars can response based on the control instruction sending by the host computer through the wireless module, and MCU also can transfer data to the host computer. Not only the smart car can get fast and reliable communication, but also the ability of network automatically heal and relay of the system is strong enough in the network coverage.
