The couplet is the crystallization of Chinese traditional culture, the Gem of Chinese Nation. With its long history and a limitless range of expression, the couplet, which is highly popular among the people, can arouse their strong aesthetic perception in the most concise form. In order to inherit and carry forward the Chinese traditional culture, this paper designs and implements a multimedia aided generation system of couplets. In the form of a website, this system has the functions of matching couplets and generating embedded or thematic couplets. At the same time, the system introduces the technology of moving pictures, which matches the recognition of couplets, and the dynamic interface design of Web pages that adapts for the emotion of users to increase the fun and artistry of the website and make the man-machine interface more harmonious and convenient. The technology of moving pictures, which matches the recognition of couplets, is based on the recognition of text classification. According to the different characters and content of couplets, the system can generate correspondingly different interactive multimedia pictures. Based on a SVM, this system is aimed to classify and recognize couplets, especially Spring Festival couplets and birthday couplets. It can also automatically generate a multimedia couplet picture with corresponding background music according to the results of couplet recognition and different background elements. On the basis of their habits and interests, users can change their couplet templates and images to get a satisfying multimedia couplet picture. The technology of dynamic interface designs of Web pages that adapt for the emotion of users is based on face recognition. According to the different facial expressions of users, the Web interface automatically changes to remind and adapt to users of their emotional changes in different forms, in order to create a convenient and delightful man-machine environment. This paper is based on EHMM to classify seven basic facial expressions, namely happiness, indignation, surprise, impassivity, sadness, averseness and scarceness. The dynamic Web interface uses the technology of AJAX and can achieve the effect of partial update without refreshment of the Web page by means of the changes of background colors, tips of expression status and background music.
