In wireless sensor networks, the gateway connects the sensor nodes and the server. It is in charge of data receiving, uploading, information and commands distribution. Data’s real-time performance, data integrity, data security all have strict demand for gateway.Gateway can have different implementation according to specific demands. When there is no limit in hardware resource and electronic resource, ARM+Linux is generally used. But for some scene, hardware resource or electronic resource should be seriously considered.For that kind of background, this article design a scheme for wsn gateway implementation in limited resource demands, the following is what we do:1. Analysis the demands of wsn gateway, and make the overall design for hardware, software and communication protocol.2. Research the key technology of system in that constraint, including task-scheduling function of operating system, and the mechanism of data forwarding for data integrity.3. Compile the overall design and key technology, implement the system and test for performance.4. Carry out the system in Mogao Grottoes micro climate monitoring system. And according to the data gathered, make an summary and outlook what we can do in the following years.According to the testing and its performance in practical application, we verify the capability of the gateway which designed for limited hardware resource condition.
