Especially the connection between the internet and campus network provides rich resources for open education which makes the network teaching come true, and opens up broad prospects for open education at the same time.Network teaching platform is actually taking the advantage of Internet technology to establish a virtual network platform in "teaching and learning", which is serving for education. Its function is so powerful that could provide comprehensive technical support for teachers and students in the internet conveniently. The software must be able to provide comprehensive technical support for students and teachers in online teaching activities, shield technology program design and aspects of complexity, lower the entry requirements for teachers and students in online teaching activities, and reduce burden for teachers so that they can concentrate on studying teaching material and teaching content, and help students improving self-learning ability and learning efficiency as well, ensuring the implementation of innovative talents cultivation and quality education.This thesis,setting in Panyu Xinzao Vocational School, is to design a network teaching platform based on web and a modern mode,which taking student as the main body and teacher as leadership.In the network teaching environment it can promote students studying by themselves and coordination study as a starting point for network teaching platform design. The platform is supporting each link in teaching, including kinds of teaching service such as course learning/practice exam and course answering. By introducing the student and teacher users’ login and registration information programming work, highlight the security of platform technology.It sure to establish the system by adopting B/S three-floors system structure, windowsserver20oo+IIS5.0+ASP.NET as the development platform, SQLServer2000as back-end database, and VisualBasic.NET as front-end development tool.
