At present, community security system largely rely on closed-circuit televisionmonitoring, which has some defects, such as having large blind area, complex wiring,poor maintainability, relatively high cost, and being unaesthetic. On the market, wirelessalarm systems based on SMS or MMS have also appeared, but their intelligent degree islower and thus cannot meet the demand of home security.The rapid development ofwireless communication technology, embedded technology, sensor technology and othertechnologies provides a powerful technical support for the research of home securitysystem.The wireless video alarm system of multi-camera based on STM32designed by thepresent study uses the existing WCDMA network to transport video stream, photos andother multimedia information rapidly, combining wireless communication technology,embedded technology, human body infrared detection technology and so on, and itbasically realizes the alarm functions.This present research has mainly finished the following aspects of the work: theanalysis of functional requirements and the overall scheme design; the design ofhardware and the manufacture of PCB; the design of related communication protocols(the communication protocol between the alarm host and the PC, the CC1101communication protocol between the host and the slaves); the detailed design andprogramming of the software; the single function test and integration test, and theanalysis of the test results.Compared with the existing alarm system, this wireless video alarm system ofmulti-camera has the following advantages: the host and the cameras communicatewirelessly and a host can control multiple cameras, so the all-round monitoring functionis realized; supporting power off protection and infrared illumination function, whichcan realize all-weather monitoring; supporting the human body infrared detector, gassensor, smoke sensor, and other sensors; supporting five ways (video call, MMS, email,voice call, SMS) of alarming; when alert occurs, the alarm host will send alarminformation to the user through the WCDMA network; users can get local information(pictures, videos, audio) and set parameters via the DTMF voice call or SMS; users canalso set the host through the PC software.In this paper, one innovation is the realization of the function of a host controlling multiple cameras wirelessly by separating the host from the cameras. In terms oftechnical route, the host and the slaves communicate wirelessly through CC1101module, using the TX6718and RX6788to transmit audio and video wirelessly. TheMCU of the host and the slave respectively choose STM32, STC11L04E. Because ofSTM32and STC11L04E having the only ID number on the globe, the host and theslaves can identify each other by the unique ID number, so a host can control multiplecameras.In this paper, a large number of tests have been carried out.The test results indicatethat the system works stably, has relatively high intelligent degree, and is able to meetthe demand of home security.
