The multi-interface multi-channel technology improves the network performancethrough configuring multiple interfaces for nodes and using more spectrum resourcesto improve the network capacity. Researchs on how to slove multi interfaces and multichannels assignment problem, decrease interference and improve the networkthroughput between wireless links are very improtant for the network design.Therefore, the paper focuses on the channel assingment strategy and multi-channelrouting metric in wireless Mesh network. The main works are listed as follows:First of all, based on the composition and architecture of the Wireless MeshNetwork, the main problems faced by the multi-interface multi-channel WirelessMesh Network are explored, while the multi-interface multi-channel networkarchitecture, the theoretical model and the routing metric design points are analyzed.Then, Interference-aware channel assignment method and traffic first searchalgorithm are studied. An improved channel re-assignment criterion is proposed. Inorder to improve the system adaptation to traffic gravity center change, a moresensitive method is employed, while a variation coefficient is used to improve theaccuracy of the criterion and stability of the network.Third, the interference and congestion-aware path selection criterion based on802.11s standard are proposed. An improved path cost computing method, whichconsiders cochannel interference on the same path, is presented.At last, NS-3network platform is employed to simulate proposed multi-interfacemulti-channel modelus. Simulation results show that improved path cost computingmethod not only performs a good network adaptation character, but also reduce thenetwork interference effectively and improve the network throughput under multipleradios and multiple channels enviorment. |
