Reverse engineering originated in the nineteen sixties, but in its manufacturingengineering of the extensive application and deepening research was started innineteen ninties. With the rapid development of computer technology, in reversedesign using computer aided design technology can greatly shorten the productdevelopment cycle and improve the design accuracy. Reverse engineering is acombining technology of measurement technique, data processing technology, imageprocessing technology, processing technology and so on. Along with the developmentof manufacturing industry is moving towards miniaturization, precision of thedirection of development, tiny parts dimension and precision requirements are alsoincreasing, how to more accurately, quickly and on small parts to be measured iscurrent manufacturing industry presents new requirements. In reverse technologygrowing today, based on machine vision in reverse system on the original machinevision measurement system for the further development, not only can realize the fullsize measurement of parts, and has the ability to realize by parts to design in reverseengineering. In this thesis, firstly, according to the existing laboratory universal toolmicroscope platform, by the image acquisition, image mosaic, and the pretreatmenttechnology of each contour point according to the pixel is divided into a straight line, circle, arc and other elements. Then the part of the sampling point with the primitiveprimitive primitive adjacent two provide constraints on the edge of constrained leastsquares fitting method. Through the method of realization of parts of the vector fitting, but also ensure the contour closure, to maximize the maintenance of the geometricrelationship between primitives, finally according to the standard DXF documentstandard map vectorization output, resulting in the parts of the AutoCAD file, therealization of two-dimensional precision small parts in reverse and full sizemeasurement.
