Structural engineering experiment is an important means of research anddevelopment for structure theory. Experiment is necessary for determining themechanical properties of structural materials and verifying the calculation method ofa single member of the beams, plates, columns, it is also essential for theestablishment of complex structural system computational theory. In order to achievereasonable design, engineering technicians have to master the actual workingconditions of the structure under various states, and understand the bearing capacity,stiffness and mechanical behavior of the structural component. With thedevelopment of modern computer technology, it not only creates conditions for usingmathematical model to compute and analysis to achieve load simulation, dataacquisition and data processing, providing a fundamental change in the structuralengineering experiment technology development, but also provides avorableconditions for the structure to sharing and reuse of engineering experiment data.The paper gives an introduction to Linked Data and the Semantic Webtechnology in detail, and then we use the Ontology technology to define conceptsand their relationships of Structure Engineering experiment, and build the domainknowledge model, established the structural engineering experiment ontology (SEO),which is serialized using the OWL language.Based on the SEO, we conduct a study on query and reasoning of structureengineering experiment domain data using Linked Data and Semantic Webtechnology. We design and implement an algorithm converting keyword query tosemantic query. We use Linked Data to publish the data of structure engineeringexperiment to linked open data. We provide a keyword query interface for users, inquery processing, reasoning based on description logic is added, in order to providemore accurate and comprehensive results.The major work of this thesis is as follows:1、 Construction of structural engineering experiment ontology: the building ofSEO provide a unified normative data model, it reduces the differences of conceptsand terminology, and implements knowledge sharing and interoperability onsemantic level for the user, at the same time it is conducive to knowledgeacquisition.2、 Add individuals to structure engineering experiment ontology base and publish linked data: For adding individuals to SEO base, we design and implementan framework called Any2OWL to convert RDB and Spredsheet to OWL and storethem to Jena TDB, then we user D2R Server and Fuseki to publish this data tolinked data. This is the foundations of linked data browse and query.3、 Convert keyword query to semantic query: we design and implement analgorithm converting keyword query to semantic query, we use semantic queryspace and query construction graph to map keyword to the semantic query of linkeddata set.4、 Reasoning on structure engineering experiment ontology base: we adoptdescription logic for reasoning to discover the implied data and knowledge.
