With the continuous development of computer and wireless communicationnetwork technology, the Internet of things begins to enter into our lives and has aprofound impact on the social development changes. With the strategic slogan of“Perceiving China” is put forward, the IOT becomes one of the three strategicplanning from China’s12th Five-Year Plan, then rises to national strategy and meetswith unprecedented opportunity for development of IOT. ZigBee networking is a keytechnology in wireless sensor networks, which as a matter of short-range, low datarate, low-cost, low-power, high-security advantages, is quietly rising and graduallyembark on mature, to become the one of the promising new technology in IOT field.Meanwhile, the Internet Connection Options basing on the technology which is mixedtogether IPV6and ZigBee is becoming the research hot one in the industry nowadays,and also an important driving engine to IOT technology solutions.This paper gives a brief introduction of ZigBee technology development andcurrent research status, analyzes and compares to several mainstream wirelessshort-range technology of the IOT. Moreover, IPv6and ZigBee wireless sensornetwork will be introduced in detail the necessity and feasibility of integrationdevelopment, and do system research on ZigBee and IPV6fusion,which basing onthe ZigBee protocol stack and the IPV6protocol stack.According to the typicalZigBee access Internet scheme based on IPV6, the author put forward remotemonitoring system of ZigBee-IPV4/IPV6double stack, and starting from thecharacteristics of the ZigBee low power consumption, low rate, in the energymonitoring of the university as the research background, using ZigBee wireless shortrange communication technology as the medium of data transmission, it designs theterminal sensor communication nodes which combines with TI CC2530and Z-Stackprotocol Stack. In addition, depending on double stack to IPV4/IPV6network ofschool as the experimental environment, temperature and voltage as the experimentdata, the author designs ZigBee-IPv4/IPv6double stack system experimental modelof remote monitoring, implementing the interconnection between ZigBee network andIPv4/IPv6double stack network.According to the functional requirements of the system, System architecturedesign model and networking scheme of system, the paper completed ZigBee networkestablishing, the coordinator and the design of serial communication base station,IPv4/IPv6network communication design, database design and monitoring platform function design. ZigBee sensor nodes useCC2530for the RFID chip, Z-Stack forZigBee protocol stack, and completed the coordinator to form a network, equipmentto join binding function between the network and equipment, so ZigBee networkcommunication is realized. ZigBee coordinator adopt the asynchronous serialinterface UART mode, and Base station using CSerialPort multithreading serialcommunication serial port, so it implements the ZigBee coordinator and serialinterface communication base station; Monitoring platform and the base stationcommunications use C/S model,which completed the IPv4/IPv6environmentverification test by asynchronous communication mode between IPV4/IPV6andsocket; Database uses ADO technology to realize the data storage; Monitoringplatform uses numerical and graphical ways to give an intuitive display of voltage andtemperature, and provide the alarm control, history inquiry, etc.At the end of this article, it will carry on the simple test to system, reaching theexpected purpose well.
