Design And Implementation Of Disaster Recovery Center For Tobacco Corporation

After the ‘Eleventh Five-Year-Plan’, the process of informatization of thetobacco industry is getting faster and faster. Protecting the security of data andinformation becomes a powerful tool to ensure the safety of manufacture and thedevelopment of the whole industry. The National Department of Tobacco noted thatbuilding the Disaster Tolerance Center (DTC) is the second heart of the informationsystem in tobacco industry.In this paper we study Disaster Tolerance Center of Chinese Tobacco Company.We analyzed the features of tobacco companies, and according to the conditions inthis area we proposed a proper, completed and in-depth design of DTC. In this paper,we firstly went through the features of the informatization of tobacco industry, andproposed the claims of the DTC design. Then from the practical requirement thedesign was given, and the feasibility and advantage of the technology is discussed.After that, we mainly analyzed and discussed the advantage of the DB2, platformdesign, DTC network design, security design and DTC management. At last thefeasibility is tested by experiment and the future work is pointed out.Aiming at the Disaster Tolerance Center in Chinese Tobacco Company designwork, results for other similar information system applications environment also tohave the certain reference significance for various industries, tolerant systemconstruction is also have a certain significance.
