Chaos is the pseudorandom phenomenon generated by definite nonlinear system.Chaotic systems have the characteristics of ergodic, indeterminism and sensitive ofparameters and initial conditions. Those properties make chaotic system used widelyin digital image encryption algorithms. Arnold map is a kind of two-dimensionchaotic system, Logistic map is one of the most common usage and most simpleone-dimension chaotic map, many image encryption methods based on those twochaotic systems were proposed these years. Radon transform is an algorithm ofproject, it often used in image detection, search and digital watermark algorithm. Weproposed kinds of image encryption methods based on chaos and Radon transform.Specific content has been summarized as below:(1) Proposed an image encryption method based on Arnold map. We found thatencryption methods only based on Arnold transform can not achieve a high security.For use the chaos of Arnold map sufficiently, we present an image encryption methodbased on Arnold map, this algorithm can confusion and diffusion image at the sametime. We simulate this method to proving the feasibility and security. For increase thespace of keys, we present two improved schemes, and also simulate those twomethods. In this paper, we point out the merit and weak point of this algorithm, andalso analysis the reason.(2) Proposed two encryption methods based on Logistic map. In those methods,we use the discrete cosine transform coefficient as the initial value of Logistic map,then iteration several times and return the value of image to get the encrypted image.We also simulate those two methods, and analysis the strong point and weak point ofthis algorithm.(3) Proposed an image encryption algorithm based on Radon transform. Thestrength of encrypt and the sensibility of keys will raise with the increase of thenumber of image to be encrypted.
