With the development of Internet technology, the information transmission forcommunication channel capacity and rate have a higher request, and it is this request thatpromotes the optical fiber communication technology of booming development. Opticalnetwork is the main development direction of the future network, which is alreadyrecognized point of view. Optical switching technology is proposed to speed up thedevelopment of the core network, including optical burst switching (OBS), optical circuitswitching (OCS) and optical packet switching (OPS) three exchange technology. Theoptical packet switching (OPS) has the advantages of flexible, efficient,and so on. It isconsidered to be the most suitable technology to the future optical fiber communicationexchange system. Optical label’s generation, extraction, identification, remove andreplace of the optical packets is the key technology to realize the optical packet switchingtechnology.In this paper, firstly introduce the bit sequence light labels, subcarrier label andorthogonal modulation light label, and introduce the basic principle of these three types oflabels. The experiment was simulated with the optisystem7.0software. And simplydescribed the practical application in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) andmultiple protocol label switching (MPLS).In this paper, the OCDMA coding/decoding technology is introduced in detail,including delay codec, FBGs codec, AWG codec, etc. And the OCDMA technologyaddress code word design and error rate was studied.Finally, in this paper, by using WDM and OCDM optical code label principledesigned a simple optical packet switching routing system and using the optisystem7.0software simulated the optical code label routing system. The simulation has been donewith4optical fiber,4wavelength, a total of16user point to point routing exchange andsimple routing function. According to the simulation result, the performance of the parallelprocessing way of light code label routing system is good, which proved that the schemeis feasible, which will make a certain contribution to the future all optical networks.
