Design And Implementation On Agricultural Product E-commerce Service Platformoriented To Quality Traceability

In recent years, however, increasingly difficulties in sales and quality problemsof agricultural products in China have become a great problem that constrains therural economic development. The quality problems of agricultural products are causedby inadequate supervision of relevant departments as well as the opaque of productionand circulation, mainly reflected in the events of food safety and embezzle of brand.These things will not only endanger the health and safety of consumers, but alsoaffect the reputation guarantee of brand. On the other hand, The disharmony betweenthe distributed operating of traditional agricultural production and big market, bigcirculation has resulted unprecedented challenges in sales of agricultural products.Therefore, a integrated platform is needed to service both mentioned above. Thisplatform can not only monitor a complete life cycle of agricultural products fromproduction, processing, distribution and sales, to avoid fake and shoddy products intothe market. And at the same time, to form an industry alliance, which is the result ofintegrating agriculture-related enterprises or farmers, to unified buying and selling onagricultural products, so as to serve theformal agricultural enterprises andconsumers.The platform provides one-stop information service of agriculturalproducts, which contains quality traceability, security check and selling. It has greatpractical significance for consumers, farmers, businesses and markets.The projects of this paper are from the“12th Five-Year” significant project of theMinistry of Scienceand Technology of China, whose name is “Research andApplication Demonstration of Whole Range Tracing and Key Techniques ofReal-Time Supervision for Harmful Substance in Food Providedfor HongKong”.The Sun Yat-sen University,the South China Agricultural University, HunanAgricultural University and Guangzhou The DEMETER CERES Information S&TCo., Ltd are committed to creating leading-edge solutions for the promotion andmarketing of traceable agricultural products. Basing on the “Agricultural ProductPlatform Oriented to Quality Traceability”, I design and implement the “E-commerce Service Platform Oriented to Quality Traceability”.The Service Platform is divided into two parts, the “Traceable AgriculturalProducts Website Platform”(www.coagle.org) and the "Agricultural ProductsE-commerce Site". The former promotes applications of corporate quality traceabilityof agricultural products, provides the query ports for traceability andanti-counterfeiting of agricultural products. The latter is mainly used for the sales ofagricultural products for enterprise, and it puts the sales information and queryinformation back to the traceability website platform.So far, the E-commerce Service Platform has received a number of agriculturalenterprises to join in. The successful implementation of the project has broughtpractical benefits and income for these enterprises, and it’s an exploratory applicationfor combination the quality traceability and e-commerce of agricultural products.
