| In recent years, Chinese government has been strengthening the attention paid tothe quality of agricultural products, and published Agricultural Product Quality SafetyLaw. The quality traceability of agricultural products is the core of the agriculturalproduct safety and quality system, which plays an important role in guaranteeing thesafety of agricultural products. However, information technology of the majority ofrural areas is imperfect, which leads to the difficulty of collectting agriculturalinformation and tracing the quality problems. Therefore, the need for an effectiveagricultural product management system is great, which covers the link of“production, supply and marketing†and provides good service to farmers,agribusiness and consumers.SYSU School of Software, together with Meizhou leading enterprise HuilingIndustrial Co. LTD., and Meijiang District information office developed a newagricultural management system for Meijiang District, as the project of Modern RuralInformation Service Platform Research Based On SaaS approved by ProvincialDepartment of Science and Technology.According to the project background, this paper’s work includes field tripping tothe Huiling Industrial Co. LTD., researching the process of the agricultural production,packaging, storage, transportation, and supermarket sales, studying the successfulcases of quality traceability at home and abroad, and designing a solution foragricultural products management via quality traceability. Based on Struts+Spring+Hibernate framework of J2EE, this paper implements a rural information systemwhich includes agricultural product management, two-dimensional barcodemanagement, enterprise management, and rights management four modules. Theagricultural product management module has six management methods, includingbasic information, batch, inspection, process, pictures, and classification. This novelinformation system is installed in Super-Computer Center in Zhaoqing City, and itbrings huge benefit for Huiling Industrial Co. LTD. In other words, the system with the flexible mode of the “software as a service†meets the design requirements.Due to the successful implementation of this project, SYSU School of SoftwareEnterprise Computing Laboratory has obtained the National High TechnologyResearch and Development Program of China, which name is “Technology andProduct Development of Agricultural Products Supply Chain with Multiple SourceInformation Perceptionâ€. In addition, we have also obtained the “12th Five-Yearâ€significant project of national ministry of science, whose name is “Research andapplication demonstration of Whole Range Tracing Harmful Substance of Food forHongkong and Key Techniques of Real Time Supervisionâ€. |
