Design And Realization Of Batch And Mixing Process Control System

The batch and mixing process is the previous and major process of charcoal and graphite products. And the end products ratio of subsequent processes is counted on the process parameters and the equipment statuses. In a carbon factory, because of the obsolete control devices, the several technical improvements are executed in the batch and mixing process. But the way of control is still in manual or semi-automatic operation mode, which results in the underproduction and restricts the quality improvement. So arming to the important control devices in the batch and mixing process, the application of the new technologies are imperative.The design and realization of the batch and mixing process control system are discussed in this paper. Firstly, according to the demands of the process, the control system project is confirmed. Secondly, the current situation, principle and selection of the control devices and instruments are introduced. And, based on PLC control system, the hardware selection and design, software designs are illustrated. The PC monitoring software of workshop and field is designed and programmed. Thirdly, the configure structure of RS485serial communication network is set up. So the management hierarchy and control structure of whole control system are constructed.After putting the PLC control system into practice, this technical reform is proved successfully. And the wider applications of PLC control system in the charcoal and graphite production are prospected.
