The Internet is playing an increasingly important role in human life witha rapid development rate, which has become an indispensable part of the developmentof the whole society. How to apply network resources to the educational process of theprimary and secondary school students correctly and effectively is a tricky task atpresent.Virtual community is a popular interactive communication platform in the Internet,which has been widely applied in various fields of human life, such as e-commerce,product development, team management and education and all that. The virtual learningcommunity which is designed mainly for learning has made full use of the networkadvantages of virtual community. Compared with classroom teaching, it can break thelimitation of time and space and provide more interactive ways for learners who caneasily participate in the problem discussion and research, share information with others,find out their own shortcomings in learning, broad the horizon, enhance affectiveinteraction with others and improve team spirit. What’s more, the virtual learningcommunity can effectively promote the efficiency of knowledge sharing andinformation dissemination. This paper researched the construction pattern of the virtuallearning community in administrating the life and study of the primary and secondaryschool students. The network advantages of virtual community and the particularities ofthe primary and secondary school students were associated to analyze the essentialcharacteristics of the virtual learning community designed for them and the factorsinfluencing the construction of this virtual learning community based on Chinadomestic and foreign literatures and cases. Through practical methods, the virtuallearning community-“xuehaizz”(www.xuehaizz.cn) established by the author for primary and secondary school students and teachers was used as the practical platform,based on which the strategies for the construction pattern of the virtual learningcommunity for primary and secondary school students were proposed from theperspectives of construction environment, learners’ behavior, teachers’ behavior andparents’ behavior, providing reference for constructing the virtual learning communityspecially for the primary and secondary school students.Based on the analysis of the first chapter from the background and status of thevirtual learning community to start, identify research ideas and methods; Chapter Twoschoolchildren virtual learning communities to explore the characteristics of theformation; Chapter III according to community-“xuehaizz”, etc. case definitions andvirtual learning community students start the analysis process to construct a virtuallearning community impact factor; Chapter IV according to three major factors affectingproposed construction strategy, including platform environment construction strategy,user behavior support strategies to resource library building strategy; section chapterssummarize the study concluded that by community-“xuehaizz” virtual learningcommunity construction strategy applied in three areas, received the results on thecommunity features, UI design, and resource management.
