With innovative country construction in our country, demands for high-level talents in science are increasingly strong. A high-quality and innovative-type scientific and technological human resource is the first strategic resource for our country to implement the strategy of strengthening the country by science and education as well as the strategy of strengthening the country by talents. The resource is also a decisive factor to promote development of national scientific and technological business and improve national competitiveness. In the face of middle-term and long-tem development planning of our country, success or failure of implementation of self-dependent innovation strategies and innovative-country construction in our country directly depends on whether a scientific and technological team which is good in knowledge structure, professional quality and comprehensive ability, has innovative ability, leadership potential, international view, long-range ambition and innovative spirit and can give play to a key role in major scientific research fields in the future can be created; especially depends on whether a batch of scientific and technological leaders in the future and high-level scientific and technological talents with innovative potential can be cultivated.Academic postgraduates in science devote themselves to the highest-end scientific research in our country and they are reserves for scientific and research development in our country in the future. Based on active demand of our country for high-quality innovative scientific and technological talents in science and continuously deepened demand for system reform in postgraduate education, the paper takes postgraduate education reform and system innovation of academic degrees in science as research points and conducts strategic research on academic postgraduate education in science in our country using relevant theories and research methods of strategic management in enterprise management as reference.The paper firstly conducts detailed analysis of strategic environment of academic postgraduate education in science in our country. Through systematic teasing of external environment and internal environment of academic postgraduate education in science, the paper analyzes the environment in which the academic postgraduate education in science in our country is located, from the perspective of strategy science. Secondly, based on analysis of strategic environment, the paper applies SWOT analysis to conduct comprehensive analysis and overview of internal and external conditions of academic postgraduate education in science in our country and matches strategic combinations correspondingly. At last, based on environmental analysis and strategic analysis, the paper carries out strategic selection for academic postgraduate education in science in our country. In the following development of academic postgraduate education in science, the paper suggests to go on carrying out stable development strategies and build cultivation bases for talents in science in combination with national strategies; carry out international and Internet technology-based cultivation of postgraduate education; strengthen construction of tutor teams for postgraduates in science; improve treatment for postgraduates in science; and control the quality of postgraduates in science.
