With the new curriculum reforming, the research of curriculum resources has been promoted. In teaching practice, we gradually found that single teaching resources can not meet the needs of the realization of the course target. We must dig the diversification of curriculum resources in order to realize curriculum objectives. As an integral part of the curriculum resources, and because of its locality, uniqueness, life and operability, local curriculum resources plays an important role in enhancing the students’interest in learning, improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching, and developing the patriotism emotion. Therefore, the concept of development and utilization of local curriculum resources in high school ideology and politics teaching has been focused on widely.As a historic and cultural city, Nanjing has the extremely rich resources, in nature, humanities, art, folk customs. And it has to develop and utilize curriculum resources, if these resources can be rationally developed and applied to the high school thought political lesson teaching, it will undoubtedly make the teaching more practical attractive and surely contribute to reach teaching goals. Based on the above reasons, the author worked on the local curriculum resources,"cultural life" which is the object of study, and build a "cultural life" local curriculum resources utilization strategy.A survey and analysis of the questionnaires and interviews of "cultural life" in Nanjing has been conducted. On this basis, several rules are explored, including principle of diversity, the characteristic principle, economic principle and student-teacher development principles; Meanwhile, development steps-Research of collecting material-carding processing link--Integration" has been put forward; This stress lies in the development of culture, creating situations, the localization of speech teaching materials and exercises and optimizing classroom teaching strategies and carry out field visits, study the practice of extra-curricular activities strategy.Through this study, a large amount of local curriculum resources has been collected. A rich Nanjing "cultural life" local curriculum resource system has been constructed. The view of curriculum resources has been updated. All of these promote the teachers professional development, at the same time, It provide reference for the future teaching practice in the development and usage of local curriculum resources.
