| Mathematical writing has great education value and the mathematics curriculum standard also puts forward corresponding requirements towards mathematical writing ability. In the west, the research system of mathematical writing is quite mature and more and more mathematics teachers choose to implement mathematical writing activity in their classes. At the same time, studies and applications of mathematical writing in our country are still in development.The subjects in this study are80six-grade students from a school in Shanghai. We ask the students to complete10mathematical writing tasks in a semester. According to the analysis of the students’attitude and writing contents, we get the following conclusions:It is viable to introduce mathematical writing activity into six-grade classes.As for students, mathematical writing activity improves their mathematical feelings, mathematical learning, communication skills and problem solving skills. As for teachers, mathematical writing activity enriches evaluation methods, helps to adjust their teaching methods and learn more about the student individuals. As for the conversation between students and teachers, mathematical writing activity not only promotes the relationship between students and teachers, but also promotes individualized teaching.At the end of the semester, most students think that mathematical writing activity brings great influences to their mathematical learning, only few students hold the idea that the activity takes time of their mathematical learning and they still do not know what to write in it.Also, the students offer valuable suggestions for the time factor and subject factor of mathematical writing activity at the end of the semester.Based on above conclusions, the thesis gives some teaching suggestions for future application. |
