With the deepening of educational reform, teachers are confronted with many challenges of professional development. Because of its superiority of flexible method, unlimited time, space and cost saving, distance training is becoming the main teacher training mode. On contrast of the training requirement, teachers not only need to know ’what it is’ and ’why it is’, but also master the strategy of ’how to do’. Traditional reception training mode cannot satisfy the quest of these questions. Experiential training can meet teachers’ multiple need through their engaging in it, communication and share, reflection and creativity. Experiential training are widely used in face-to-face training. It is a whole new question that how to apply experiential training in distance training, and not weaken the advantages of large-scaled teacher training.Because of the high requirement of interaction frequency and quality of experiential training, it needs specific management strategy on carry out a high quality experiential training under the background of large-scaled distance teacher training. Based on this question, the writer put forward a concept of Large-scaled Experiential Distance Teacher Training, hereinafter referred to as LEDT, and are going to do a research on LEDT management strategy based on the two years’ high school teacher training of Shandong in2012and2013.Around the ultimate output of check sheet for LEDT management strategy, this article developed a series of research using the educational design research as a main method. First of all, the writer assured the advantages of experiential training better than traditional training, and the obstacle that how to develop LEDT, on the comprehensive analysis of teacher training, distance training and experiential training. With the work above, the writer summed up the management investigated points of LEDT. And then in the process of Shandong high school teacher training in 2012and2013, the writer established the check sheet for LEDT management strategy with the continuous improvement of management strategy and management intervene. During this process, the writer gathered training data from different aspect through questionnaire survey, to make sure the science and reasonability of the check sheet.From the current articles, the researches of experiential distance teacher training put their concerns on mainly course design. In this article, the writer will focus on the management aspect, hope to provide effective and practical help for distance training managers through a management tool.
