Education is a social activity about human benings.Abandoning human benings, the education is nothing. Gender is a fundamental attribute of the human benings. Study the basic education course from the perspective of gender, there will be a different magnificent sight.This paper, which based on the attention to the gender course of ordinary high school related research in China, mainly discusses several important questions. First, determine the gender of average high school curriculum connotation, or the gender of ordinary high school course should be? Second, analysize the possibility and necessity of gender curriculum development of ordinary high school.Third, study on the history of gender course, how to form and how to expand? And what kind of reference valua and enlightenment significance for the construction of the gender courses that will have? Forth, how to develop a gender curriculum of ordinary high school?The text consists of five parts, the main content is summarized as following:The first part is introduction.it mainly elaborated the selected topic reason and research significance of this paper; Established the research question and research purpose of this paper; Combing the related literature both demostic and foreign; On the basis of literature review, this paper analyzes the existing related research situation and deficiencies; At the last of this thesis,research ideas and research methods are introduced.The second part is the logical starting point and basis of writing. This chapter defines the basic concepts, and introduces the theory basis of the gender curriculum development of ordinary high school. First of all, to analysiz and define the basic concepts of "sex","course","gender" and "curriculum development",and then to lead out the meaning of gender courses, which lays a foundation for the entire chapter discussing."gender" is a rich concept of discourse, the word "gender", which need the common localization of history and social variables, as the variable function sliding on the axis of time and space. The single nature of’gender’ is replaced by the complex relationship among gender and physiology, gender and psychology, gender and society. A variable changes constantly, and"gender" often. Curriculum is a process of value and meaning construction.Gender courses emphasize the construction process of gender value and gender significance. The gender courses can be understood as a gender or gender-related courses. Curriculum development is a dynamic process which has constant occurrence、development and formation. Curriculum development is not only including people, time, environment, target, content, method, process, evaluation and other curriculum elements, but also including interaction among them. Then, the theory basis of ordinary high school curriculum development of gender should include:multicultural education theory, postmodern feminism curriculum theory and gender balanced curriculum theory.The third part goes back to the reality, to discuss the necessity and the possibility of the genger curriculum development of ordinary high shool.This paper argues that the necessity mainly from three aspects:the demands of social development and the quality education, the special needs of high school students’ development, and many gender problems or deviations in ordinary high school curriculum. In addition, there are broad spaces in ordinary high school curriculum to have the gender curriculum development. So,the possibility is also affirmatory.The fourth part is about the historical investigation and reflection to the gender curriculum setting mode in China.In this chapter, using the method of historical investigation, do the literature investigation and historical carding on Chinese gender education mode. In Our country, there are the single gender course mode and the same gender pattern. They have different gender discourse, historical background, rheological process and course meaning. And the both also have insurmountable problems.The fifth part expounds the expectation of the gender curriculum development of ordinary high school.This paper argues that it grasps the following points:First, establish diverse subjects of curriculum development; Second, set up the curriculum goals that can promote common development of the gender; Third, design integrating curriculum structure; Fourth, take flexible curriculum implementation strategy; Fifth, get the humanized curriculum evaluation.
