The relationship between religion and science is often seen as opposite andsegregative. However, in the contemporary Chinese society where science has highlydeveloped, various religious activities and the spread of folk beliefs have alsomaintained the high speed of development. This article is selected the representativeof many religious activities and folk beliefs as the research object, in other words,which is "dizang seven", but little attention is paid to the representative of religiousactivities,and in-depth field research is carried out in the play seven dojo of J provinceC city. In the process of research based on anthropology, religion, psychology andother disciplines theory as the backing, the writer deeply proceed with the overallunderstanding to "dizang seven" in order to accurately comprehend the phenomenonand the research and analysis. From the psychology, functional and symbolic ways thewriter explicates why "dizang seven" as a religious activity spread and develop intoday’s highly developed science, think about the subtle relationship between religiousactivities and people’s life, and analyze the effects on people’s life. These analysesprovide some meaningful thinking in the face of the religious life to people.In this paper, there exist totally three parts.The first part of is the introduction, which includes the origin of main problems,research meaning, this topic research, the research object, the definition to researchtime, research methods, and the innovation of the paper.Based on the existing relevant research on religious activities and "dizang seven"theories, the paper hold a notion that this topic research lacks. The existing researchesfocus on the relation of Buddhism and the contemporary society, and concentrativelypay little attention to a branch of Buddhism, especially for "dizang seven". Even if ithas produced fort ten years, the Buddhistic practice activity is followed with rare attention.The second part consists of three chapters.The part includes the basic situation description "dizang seven". This chapterfirstly to know "dizang seven" in the first quarter, and this paper will clearlyreproduce the concept of "dizang seven" and the origin of "dizang seven". The secondpart of this chapter describes the spread and development of "dizang seven". Throughunderstanding to the spread and development of "dizang seven", we perceive thevitality of its development. Third section mainly introduces general situation of fieldinvestigation object in order to expatiate the cause of the selecting object, and presentthe humane and social environment for everyone. Through main cases and first-handinformation the paper insights into the main engagers of "dizang seven" in the fourthquarter, and summarize the cause of their engaging "dizang seven" practice.The second chapter is about the field investigation of play seven. On the basis ofthe collection of first-hand materials, the writer want reproduce the scene of playseven, and clearly describe people’s reaction who are participate in playing seven andthe content of play seven every day. Then by combining first-hand materials andreliable secondary datum, the paper presents the introduction of other kinds of "dizangseven". In order to adapt to all kinds of groups, the society intercalates a variety offorms except basic period of play seven. Other kinds of "dizang seven" almost canmeet the needs of the various demands for people’s lives, such as study, job, love,marriage, family, and many other demands. Through the above introduction to thekind of play seven, the paper hope to uncover the mystery of the "dizang seven".The third chapter is about anthropological analysis of "dizang seven"phenomenon. Through knowing and understanding the phenomenon of "dizangseven", the paper makes use of research approaches such as psychology, anthropology,religion, and tries to analyze the fundamental cause of the produce and spread of"dizang seven" phenomenon. In this chapter the function of "dizang seven", thegeneration and development of "dizang seven" in historic and humane environment,the relationship between people’s psychological needs and "dizang seven", andsymbolic meaning of "dizang seven", are discussed. The paper combines with cases’ analysis, so as to test "dizang seven" phenomenon whether the existence anddevelopment of its function and characteristic has a connection with the psychologicaland symbolic meaning.The third part includes the conclusion and discussion.This part is about the knowledge of "dizang seven" phenomenon. In the firstplace, the paper has an objective understanding on the phenomenon of "dizang seven".Although "dizang seven" phenomenon can not only reflect the social and naturalenvironment, but also can satisfy peoples’ psychological and social needs in somedegree. In fact the religious activity has many opposites to science, and peopleindulge in the religious activities making t gradually separate themselves from the reallife, which is bad for social progress and development. The role of "dizang seven ", inwrites’ opinion, should be a psychological suggestion from aspirants, a kind of meetneeded by our subjective desire, and aspirants themselves in the process of practicewhich exists a healthy life style. Treating similar religious activities like "dizangseven", we must take a right attitude, because of religious culture is an important partin human culture. As the generation of human, religion that makes many contributionto human society, also have been accompanied human development and progress.Therefore in the face of religious activities like "dizang seven", we should take arational attitude of knowing and handling them, in order to make them play morestable and rational roles in social life.
