Abstract/Summary:
With teaching Chinese as a foreign language successfully launched in variouscountries, Chinese become a popular language in the world. With the continuousdevelopment of China-Australia relations, Chinese teaching has been developing inAustralia. In order to increase the practical experience of Chinese education,analyzing and investigation of Chinese teaching in local schools in Australia, theauthor of this article as a volunteer Chinese teachers into Bacchus Marsh Primary, inVictoria, Australia, for a period of one year. Deeply study the Chinese teaching. Firstly,the paper introduces this primary, offer the reason of opening Chinese courses andshow the development of Chinese teaching. Secondly, according to Australia’s"Victorian Second Language Program", study "Six thinking hats" in all steps of theclassroom. Finally, multi-angle recording and analyzing the actual situation ofChinese teaching through lots of the language and culture teaching cases, givingadvice to the Chinese teaching. For "six hat thinking" mentioned in this paper, lots ofclassroom teaching examples will apply for the development of teaching Chinese as aforeign language in the future.
