Research suggested that:1. Most of the migrant children students are fond of participating in extracurricular sports activities, however they have different attitudes towards it. The migrant children students only actively take part in the programs they are interested in.2. Migrant children students tend to participate in the extracurricular sports activities include entertaining games and running and strolling which is low technical demanded, simple and easy to operate.3. The migrant children students mainly participated in the setting-up exercises during the break. Their frequency of the extracurricular sports activities participation is3to4times a week. Each time lasts between31to60minutes. According to the observation of the physical and mental condition, the effect of the activities is found to be guaranteed.4. Since the migrant children students spend most of their time in the school, the place where those students participate in the extracurricular sports activities was mainly the school playground. Their partners in the activities are mainly friends and classmates.5. The ratio of the migrant children students who spend their spared time to participate in extracurricular sports activities is low. The main reasons lead to this are "lack of time","bad health condition","bad technical skill","lack of facilities","no interest in PE","no permission from the parents","lack of guidance" and so on.6. Part of the migrant children students hold that participation in extracurricular sports activities has no negative effect on their study, with a certain understanding of the extracurricular sports activities. However, the school leaders and migrant parents are lack of enough cognition about it. Factors like "knowledge prior to PE ","inside class prior to outside class","quantity prior to quality" and lack of PE teachers severely affects the organization of the extracurricular sports activities. |
