In the process of implementing the strategy of invigorating the country through science and education, the higher vocational education plays an important role in such historical missions as economic growth and social progress. The developmental level of the higher vocational education and the quality of the trained competent people are determined much by the overall quality of the teachers. The level of the teaching quality is determined by the quality of teachers. Since we carried out the Reforms and Opening to The Outside World, the cultivation of vocational college teachers have been developed, advanced in difficulties and made much active progress. However, in the whole, it’s far enough to meet the requirement of the reform and development of higher education.We are still facing a lot of conflicts and difficulties in the construction of vocational college teachers and some fundamental problems urgent to be further studied and resolved. The human resource management of vocational college PE teachers is an important part of the college teacher team building, so this paper just starts from the analysis of the vocational college PE teachers’present condition in Zhengzhou City, finds out the existing problems and conflicts and puts forward the suggestions to improve the human resource management of vocational college PE teachers in Zhengzhou City according to the theories and measures of human resource management.This article, by applying documents, information, questionnaire, interview to specialists, the statistics of data and the analysis of logic, reach the conclusions as follows:1. The P. E teachers with advanced positional titles take a relatively small proportion compared with those with preliminary titles, however, the number of middle-aged teachers, as the cornerstone in higher vocational colleges is scarce.2. The in-service training for P. E teachers in higher vocational colleges in Zhengzhou has become a mere formality, for which teachers aim at obtaining only diplomas.3. The promotion for P. E teachers in higher vocational colleges in Zhengzhou are almost materials accompanied by the execution of many regulations and systems, which overlook the spiritual inspiration for teachers.4. The checkup to P.E teachers in higher vocational colleges in Zhengzhou is still staying at quantity and pragmatic effects, whose contents are vague without clear objectives.The article tries to put forward the following suggestions:1. We must strengthen and modify the mode and ways by which we manage higher vocational P. E teachers, reform the current mode through we examine and appraise P. E teachers’positional titles and carry on firmly the appointment system.2. Lay great emphasis on the integral optimization of higher vocational P. E teachers’structure and promote the reasonable intercollegiate flow of P. E teachers while keeping the relative stability of core ones.3. We must further promote the construction of discipline echelon, cultivate P. E teachers to a larger and deeper extent and make up systems of management in line with the current situation in Changsha according to scientific and reasonable teachers-oriented promotion mode.4. We must abandon the concept that checkup is a mere formality, cultivate the correct awareness to checkup and erect the scientific and reasonable checkup systems.
