Along with the promulgation and implementation of "The new curriculum standards in English" and "Oxford English" being used as an English textbook in high schools, more higher requirements on English teaching have been put forward. The views of foreign language teaching in the new situation are "Starting from the students’learning interest, life experience and cognitive level and advocating the learning of experience, participation, cooperation and exchange"."Student-centered, teacher-guided" clearly states that the development of students in English courses start and end. They emphasize teacher-student interaction and student-student cooperative learning. At present, the new nationwide curriculum reform in China is a vigorous manner, which attempts to reform the form of examination and teaching material to promote English-classroom teaching. It aims to help students improve their abilities of lifelong learning. Therefore, as a main position of cultivating students’innovative spirit and practical ability, classroom teaching reform is always the priority. Teachers are constantly thinking and discussing the central theme:How to cultivate a new generation of high quality talents. The talents are not only solid language foundation of knowledge, but also innovation ability and pioneering spirit.Under the curriculum reform of English Teaching in senior high school, this study is based on some major theories of SLA:"language input and practice"," mother tongue in foreign language learning "and "language environment". Task-based teaching principles and task of teaching and learning are involved. Moreover, present high school "Oxford English " textbook and the spoken English test form of PETS in Hunan Province are inspirations. The research is on the basis of practice. It’s to improve the existing teaching mode, to explore a new way of classroom teaching, to cultivate and enhance the students’language learning, application, organization, communication,thinking and innovation ability in English. The model in this paper is called "A Model of High School Classroom Teaching in Oxford English Based on the Task of "Reading-Discussion-Writing"The subjects of this study come from206students,4classes in the1st grade, NO.5high school of Linxiang City, Hunan Province. During their study of Module2," Oxford English", they were divided into the experimental classes and the contrast classes. According to their gender, personality, learning ability, testing results and other factors, students of the experimental class were divided into groups. Through group cooperation and interactive learning, they completed different listening, speaking, reading, and writing tasks, which are related to the text. Their display in oral or written in the classroom was recorded. The data analysis is involved. Methods combine questionnaire investigations and interviews between teachers and students in the experimental class and the contrast class.This paper consists of five chapters.,1st part:Introduction. Introduce background, object, purpose and content of this study2nd part:Literature Review. It mainly reviews the relevant literature and research material related to this research, Including the purpose and significance of the new curriculum reform, the relevant requirements of high school English teaching, and characteristics of the current "Oxford English " textbooks in senior high schools3rd part:Theoretical foundation. Two modes of task-based teaching and some related theories of SLA are introduced.4th part:Elaboration upon the connotation of the model of high school classroom teaching in Oxford English based on the task of "Reading-Discussion-Writing"5th part:Investigation and analysis after the implementation of the Model of High School Classroom Teaching based on the task of "Reading-Discussion-Writing"6th part:Conclusion. Sum up the lacks and confusion in the research and give some countermeasures and suggestions for reference.
