Learning community made up of individuals, which there is a common practice among individuals identified, beliefs and ideas, not a common organization, but an activity system. The common goal of members, from a different perspective analysis of learning objects, using a variety of learning styles, share the learning themes and focus of solutions, in order to achieve the perfect upgrade for individuals and groups. University teacher learning community is composed of independent college teachers, through a variety of interactive learning activities, sharing each other’s experience and knowledge of the structure, to promote the progress of students, teachers and teacher groups, and build self-development groups. Construction of faculty learning communities changes the traditional mode of development of teachers, which is under the concept of lifelong learning, back to learners’ role, under the isolation of the groups, the teacher’s emotional appeal, and inevitable demand of teacher community development. In this study, from a sociological point of view of the meaning and elements of learning communities, combined with the characteristics of college teachers come out the meaning and value of the learning community college teachers. This study has been selected groups of teachers learning the University of Miami as a case study of teachers by analyzing the construction of the community colleges so that university teachers summed learning community system construction. In the interpretation of the theory, case studies, after combing the status quo, the study concluded that the specific content of university teachers learning community building.Construction of faculty learning communities must have adequate theoretical support, and the theoretical support of this research is mainly reflected in the learning community for teachers to explore the meaning and value of universities. On the one hand, the study of learning through study groups and community college teacher conceptual analysis is to clarify the meaning and elements of learning groups and to elaborate on the content and features of the learning community college teachers. On the other hand, the development model from teachers, teachers and teacher management of the learning environment at three levels, is to explore the meaning and value of university teachers to build learning organizations. Then, on the basis of this study, Faculty Learning Community in the University of Miami (FLC) Case analysis, from the FLC of development, preparation and formation, organization and operation of several aspects explain the specific construction of university teacher learning community. Finally, based on the construction of the University of Miami FLC reflection and learning, combined with the plight of university teachers in the current study team building, it clears up the theoretical basis and practical strategies teachers of university learning community building. From the construction of learning community, this study is to investigate the college teacher development and provides a new direction and a new perspective for the management of university teachers, but also enriched the connotation and university teachers in the field of development.
