Curriculum standard plays a very important role in national curriculum. As we all know, the America is the strongest country in the world, not only its political power but its economic strength has great influence on the other countries. The America’s mode of education also leads the trend of educational reform. In the other side of the world, The development of education keeps growing since the ancient China, and even came out world extremely influential thinkers and excellent educators. But in general, Chinese education still exist a large gap with developed countries especially for America. In2001, the new national standard of history curriculum is introduced by China education reform, which replaced the previous one. It means history education in our middle school is opening a new page. Nowadays, it is necessary and meaningful thing to compare with the historical education of other countries, in order to promote the rapid development of China’s history education.Both Chinese history curriculum and America history curriculum have significant effects, some of them are similarity and some of them are difference. Therefore, the integration of the two unified comprehensive research will help us learn from the more experienced, more useful reference for the development of today’s education. This content of paper is divided six parts. The first chapter outlines the background of history curriculum standard in Chinese and America. The second chapter outlines the guiding ideology of history curriculum standard. The third chapter outlines objectives of history curriculum standard. The fourth chapter outlines contents of history curriculum standard. The fifth chapter outlines implementation of the recommendations. The sixth part is the conclusion of the two inductions.
