Abstract/Summary:
The relationship between education and social economic development are very close,economy provides the material basis for the development of education, and educationespecially higher education provides intelligence and talent guarantee for economicdevelopment. In the era of knowledge economy, higher education has become a powerfuldriving force for economic developments, and the development level of higher educationhas become an important symbol to measure a country’s comprehensive national strength.Now, study on the relationship between higher education and economic development hasbeen more and related theories have been formed. Economic development will cause theuniversity disciplinary structures’ adjustment; reasonable scientific structure can promoteeconomic growth. Economic development is the development of the industry, the evolutionof the industrial structure is the core of economic growth, the relationship betweeneconomic development and higher education in the final analysis is the relationshipbetween industrial structure and discipline structure of higher education, so the adjustmentof industrial structure change talent demand structure, which requires the adjustment ofdiscipline specialty structure to meet the needs of industrial development. Therefore, underthe condition of university independent recruitment, adjustment of subjects and specialtiesbased on regional economic development in different regions, to promote and coordinatethe maintenance of higher education discipline structure development and the evolution ofindustrial structure, to ensure the two promote mutually, mutual coordination, haveimportant theory significance and the practice significance.This paper reviews the previous studies of industrial structure and disciplinarystructure relationship, concludes that the previous research mainly launches from twoangles,talent supply and employment or the relationship between higher educationdisciplinary structure and the economy higher education and the economy, and arequalitative research, less quantitative research. On this basis, the paper made furtherresearch on the relationship between higher education disciplinary structure adjustment andindustrial structure evolution. First, Analyzed the decisive role of the industrial development for disciplinary structure adjustment theoretically. Then use relevant dataabout subject structure and industrial structure of Shandong Province in recent years,combined with the actual situation in Shandong Province, I conducted the correlationanalysis and regression analysis and constructed the regression model between universitysubject structure and industrial structure. Then predicted Shandong college disciplinarystructure adjustment direction of Shandong Province in the next few years, finally putsforward some countermeasures and suggestions accordingly.
