On The Contemporary College Students’ Moral Problems

Generally speaking, the contemporary college students’ moral situation is good andoptimistic. Such as most of them are positive, hard-working, with a strong sense ofsocial responsibility, but still exist many problems. These problems are not onlyshowing in the field of the moral sense, but also in moral activities. In terms of moralconsciousness, a part of the college students show distortion on the sense of moralvalues, indifference on moral emotion, weak-willed on morality,loss on moral beliefs.Problems of moral activities are mainly manifested in the lack of reverence for life,the lack of moral integrity and network moral anomie. There are many reasons forthese moral problems, not only from social aspects, school aspects, family aspects, butalso from the students themselves. Building a harmonious society, cultivatinghigh-quality talents both need us to solve these moral problems. For students’ moralproblems, we should follow some objective laws and rules, such as the laws of moralcognitive development, physical and mental development. Family, school, socialshould work together. And also refer to ancient methods, foreign good methods. Tosolve college students moral problems should take a wide range of countermeasures,including constantly purify the social environment, establish and create a good socialatmosphere, improving school moral education curriculums, strengthen theconstruction of campus culture environment and related systems, focusing on familyand moral education, strengthen the students themselves morality and so on.
