Although the social environment for AIDS victims has improved,but consider of the incurable and fangs of AIDS, the public has notyet eliminated the discrimination. In this special social environment,many AIDS victims show the self-identity crisis.In order to explore the manifestation and impact factors ofAIDS self-identity crisis, the author interviews the AIDS victimsfrom the infectious hospital and Green’s Harbor in Lin fen. Afterabout a dozen interviews, the author finds that AIDS patients andinfected persons, who face their own "identity" and for their socialexclusion and discrimination, will be a period of adjustment inpsychology. In their behavior, there will be four conditions:self-denial, passive acceptance, dare not to admit openly, andactively acceptance. For those who are reluctant to accept theirAIDS identity in the psychological and behavioral,It’s more likely to show the self-identity crisis, such as self-denial,negative and pessimistic.In order to reverse the negative performance of AIDS victims,the author explores the factors. These factors include theirpsychological factors, family factors, social factors. Found throughresearch, in order to success out of self-identity crisis and construct the positive self-identity, family and social should createa more caring and encouraging social atmosphere for AIDS patientsand infected persons. For the AIDS victims, they also should reversetheir attitude and accept their self.
