| In recent years, a series of basic theoretical issues, such as objects, methods, location, have been the focus of educational technology. Some problems of the study on basic theory of educational technology in China have reflected that educational technology is not yet a mature discipline. There is every indication that the crisis of educational technology have emerged. In this paper, we discuss the causes, characterization, and resolution strategy of the crisis of educational technology with the methodology including concept analysis, comparison of literatures, combination of problems and solutions, etc.Introduction mainly discusses the research background, research status, the problems to be solved and the significance of research.The first chapter briefly expounds the concept of identity and identity crisis. Identity and identity crisis has been placed in the core status of a series of urgent theoretical debate, and provides for those individuals and groups facing crisis the best observation.The second chapter discusses that identity crisis can be divided into internal crisis and identity crisis of disciplines, and then we discuss the causes of the two kinds of identity crisis, through the overall study about the evolution and characterization of identity crisis of educational technology.The third chapter demonstrates the strategy and methods to solve the identity crisis of educational technology. For the solution of the identity crisis of educational technology, we must re-understand and establish the identity of educational technology, through the deep understanding of the cross-disciplinary property and intrinsic property of educational technology. Educational technology is a cross-disciplinary, so we can use the methods of interdisciplinary research to study, and the methods have been neglected by the researches of educational technology. In the paper, the author believe that there are two approaches--problem-solving and theoretical reconstruction, and three principles--open, inclusive, collaborative in interdisciplinary research. We can achieve the purpose of theory construction of educational technology through the reference, transplantation, and development of the concepts and theories of educational technology, in the collaboration of cross-border. In the end, we analyze the characteristics of technology and educational technology, and believe that the forms of educational technology refer to both the products and the process of technology, and the core of educational technology is using and design of educational technology, that current trends in educational technology has precisely proven these ideas. |
