Research On The Needs Of The Elderly Population In Beijing City Pension Service

China’s population age structure in the late20th century began to enter the stage of ageing. With the rapid development of China’s aging population, pension services also become a growing concern in the Government and society at large events. Needs of a wide variety of older persons is not only the demands of life, such as spiritual and cultural demand and social needs. Starting from the city’s own needs of the elderly study on pension services construction in Beijing, to improving the status of pension services for the elderly in China, promote service innovation, and improve the level of service is of great significance.This article from the social service needs of older, based on the pension status of the elderly in cities, to pension services the point of contradiction between supply and demand, around the urban elderly needs perfecting old-age service system in Beijing. Introduction part introduces the story’s background, significance and research methods. The essay surveys by combination of a literature study and questionnaire method. Then summarize domestic scholars on research results in the pension services, previous studies are important references in this article, and also on social concepts and requirements defined in relation to the services. Research problems using the questionnaire method in this paper, analyses through questionnaires to recycle, take the form of charts and text, summed up the basic social service needs of older persons of the city. Through comparison with the pension service status after and found service there is a supply and demand mismatch, insufficient publicity, private social service institutions for living situation an urgent need to improve the development of the difficulties, the elderly, pension services for professional quality and a low degree of specialization. Finally to solve this problem developed encouraging policies and regulations system of family support for the elderly, improve community aged care system, accelerate the construction of old-age care institutions three improvement initiatives, and for missing elderly alone, empty-nesters and other special groups of elderly also make recommendations that meet their needs, so as to achieve the aim of improving old-age service system in Beijing, to provide senior citizens with better service.
