Most university teachers are implemented flexible working system:there is no fixed working time. This work has a high level of freedom and flexibility, but the cumulative working time is very long.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part reviews the domestic and foreign scholars on the "working time" and "university teachers working time". The second part is the theoretical analysis, summarizes the capital characteristics of university teachers and university teachers working hours. On the basis of these features, combined with the theoretical basis and analytical models of economics, through the through the "entrusted agency-the efficiency wage-income substitution effect and working time","the cost of the fixed time-reservation wages and working time","risk appetite and working time","personal achievement motivation and working time,"," flexible working hours system and working time "the six models to analyze the causes of college teachers’ working time extended.Working time has a rich connotation, the extension of working hours is just a representation, but the consequences of the satiation are what we really need to know. Then we need to find a starting point, and therefore the third part of this paper describes a perspective to analyze working time-the degree of fatigue accumulation. We introduced the concept of the degree of accumulation of fatigue and how to measure it. Then we describe the relationship between the degree of accumulation of fatigue and working hours.The fourth part is empirical research university teachers working hours, through empirical research data to analyze the length of the structure of university teachers characteristics and distribution of working time, while working to explore factors affecting the duration and distribution structure, the relationship between working hours and fatigue.The fifth part is the recommended section. In the survey, we found some problems, some suggestions based on the problem. This is to facilitate the work of university teachers arrange a reasonable time, effective and appropriate distribution of work hours to avoid fatigue brought about by work. Then maintain physical and metal’s health, achieving sustainable development.
