Due to the impact of foreign culture and web cultural, and the transformation ofsociol-economic structure brought by the reform and opening up, the social valueshave been diversified, andhigh school students’ values have been shaken and blurred.Our country’s social moral construction has encountered many new situations, newproblems and new contradictions, in need of deep reflection and exploration. Inrecent years, poor consciousness of social morality among high school students hasbecome the focus of senior educators’ concern.Morality is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, the basic norms of doingthings. Social morality is an important part of high school students’ moral cultivation;it will impact the formation of their world outlook, views on life and values, andinfluence their attitude towards learning and life. High school student is a huge youthgroups, their social moral consciousness will determine our country’s future anddevelopment, and it also has a close relation to the future of the country and theprosperity of the nation. High school students have a strong plasticity, and they are inthe best time to develop their sense of morality. Students with high social moralconsciousness will play an important role in maintaining social public order, and theyare conducive to social harmony. Therefore, cultivating students’ social moralconsciousness plays an important part in high school politics classes.In order to study how political lessons could foster students’ social moralityconsciousness effectively, the author has summarized the present status of highschool students social morality consciousness and has analyzed the cause of theproblem developing students’ consciousness of social morality from the multipleperspectives with the research methods of literature research, case studies, observationand so on, combining with the performance of senior students in social ethics behavior.At last, with the guiding ideology of “ideological and political senior curriculumstandards”, the author put forward the strategies of developing students’consciousness of social morality in ideological and political lessons teaching.The paper consists of three parts: Part I: Overview of the theory of social morality awareness. It is explainedmainly from three aspects: first, the analysis of the relative concepts of socialmorality; second, the definition of the concepts of awareness about social morality;third, the interpretation of the necessity of social morality awareness training from theperspectives of the ideological and political lessons, students cultivation and socialdevelopment.Part II: the analysis of the reasons for the present situation and the problemsexisted about senior students’ social morality awareness. The present situation ofsenior students has both a positive aspect and an inadequate one. For senior students’lack of social morality awareness, there are deep causes of that from the perspectivesof traditional culture, social change, school education and student characteristics.Part III: Political morality lesson students awareness of countermeasures.Measures include: Attention to the ideological and political awareness of social ethicsteaching in education; Apply what they learn to deepen the practice of education;Apply what they learn to deepen the practice of education; Teachers play a politicalrole model of morality.In this paper, an in-depth understanding and grasp of social ethics awarenesssystems theory, based on the analysis of current situation and the reasons for theexistence of the problem of senior students Social Morality, Based on ideological andpolitical course, the corresponding countermeasures. Not only can enrich thetheoretical study of social ethics awareness training, and to improve the ideologicaland political course effectiveness of moral education.
