Abstraction is an important and senior form of thinking activity. Its characteristic is theabstract concept, judgment and reasoning as the basic form, the analysis, comprehensive,comparison, generalization and concretization as the basic process, thus revealing theessential characteristics and regularity of the relations of things. It is the important componentof the structure of human thinking. Abstract thinking is specific and vivid, in the process ofabstraction of the nature, to summarize some conclusions from the given materials, to solve aproblem or make a new judgment. Abstract generalization ability is a necessary condition tolearn mathematics and related subjects, is an important index and symbol from image thinkingto abstract thinking development. Mathematical abstract generalization is a kind ofmathematical thinking ability, is the ability of human brain and mathematical thinking objectspace form, the relationship between the number of interactions and the general law ofthinking understanding of mathematics content according to the internal rational activity, isthe high level of mathematical thinking, is the core part of mathematics ability structure, butalso is the basic ability of imagination, abstract generalization ability,reasoning ability,computation ability, data processing ability and application development of awareness andsense of innovation and enhancement of the space during high school.But on the current status of high school students, most of them can understand the lessonwithout question, notes, summary, imitate, enhance understanding and refining. While thestudy material shows, from the beginning of the last century fifty’s, based on research onmathematical abstraction and generalization capability for generalization ability ofgeneralization ability in mathematics at home and abroad, The structure, function and statusand the factors affecting the capacity development is studied using pure form. Culture ismainly based on empirical study to explore mathematical abstraction ability of mathematics,abstract generalization ability in the process of a persistent development stage, enhance theprobability, the consciousness of study.In this paper, the students of our school as the research object, in various educationalinstitutions to assist and some teachers and students full cooperation, particularly in Professor Zhang Shuo’s help, students in high school were investigated in the present situation ofmathematics abstract generalization ability through questionnaire and talking method,analyzes the existing high school students Abstract generalization and application theproblems and the reasons are:students basically can not successfully complete the abstract nature of the essentialattribute. students basically can’t abstract direction, there is no clear abstraction knowledgetransformation and universal contact awareness is not strong.Based on the above situation,this paper using the method of literature and practicalexperience in mathematics teaching in the rational use of the concept of teaching, studyseveral effective ways of cultivating mathematical abstract generalization ability of highschool students to explore the four aspects of teaching, study and mathematical modeling,systematic training on mathematical abstraction generalization ability in mathematicseducation and provide a theoretical basis and practical basis. Has certain guiding significanceto the cultivation of mathematics abstract generalization ability in the mathematics teaching ofhigh school students.
