Field cognition style has great influence on students’ study,life and psychological cognition development.Relevant scholars have studied the role of field cognitive style in mathematics learning,and this paper is the first time to link field cognitive style with mathematical abstract literacy,and study the influence of field cognitive style on mathematical abstract literacy.The main problems to be solved are as follows:(1)How does the field cognition style affect the mathematical abstract literacy of sophomore students?(2)How about mathematical abstract literacy of sophomore students with different field cognitive modes?(3)What are the effects of gender,arts,science and mathematics scores on the mathematical abstract literacy of sophomore students? Through this study,the influence of psychological cognitive factors on mathematical abstract literacy is comprehensively elaborated,hoping to provide relevant inspiration and suggestions for teachers engaged in front-line education in the process of training and developing students’ mathematical abstract literacy in high school,so as to promote students’ mathematical abstract literacy more effectively.Firstly,according to the research objectives and the existing research literature,the relevant concepts and assessment framework were sorted out,so as to determine the test papers needed for this research,which are mainly EFT Mosaic Graph Test and Mathematical Abstract Literacy Test Volume by Zhou Zixi.Secondly,193 students in the second year of high school were selected as the subjects to carry out the test investigation,and collect the data of the test volume.Then,with the help of data analysis software SPSS,the overall analysis of field cognition mode on mathematical abstract literacy,the research and analysis of different field cognition mode on mathematical abstract literacy,and the analysis of the influence of different field cognition mode on gender,arts and sciences,mathematics achievement and mathematical abstract literacy were made,and the following research conclusions were drawn:On the whole,the field cognition style is related to the level of mathematics abstract literacy and mathematics achievement.Students with different field cognition modes have differences in mathematics abstract literacy level and mathematics achievement.The more field independent students’ cognitive style is,the better their mathematical abstract literacy level is and the higher their mathematical scores are.The overall level of mathematical abstract literacy of different field cognitive modes is medium.Field independent students’ mastery of the three levels of mathematical abstract literacy is above the medium level,while field dependent students’ mastery of level 2 and Level 3 is relatively weak compared with field independent students.However,both field independent students and field dependent students’ mastery of high level shows a trend of decreasing compared with level 1 as the difficulty of test items increases and the corresponding level increases.Therefore,it is medium level.There are differences between genders,arts and sciences in different field cognitive styles on mathematical abstract literacy level,but the comprehensive interaction effect is not significant.Different genders have different degrees of differences in mathematical abstract literacy.The level of male students compared with female students increases with the level of mathematical abstract literacy,and male students have a higher degree of knowledge than female students.In the field of arts and science,science students’ abstract literacy of mathematics is better than that of arts students.However,the analysis of the interaction between gender,arts,science and mathematics abstract literacy shows that the interaction is not significant,so the comprehensive influence of gender,arts,science and science on mathematics abstract literacy is not significant.Finally,combined with the research results of the influence of field cognitive style on mathematical abstract literacy,this paper gives some suggestions on improving mathematical abstract literacy based on the differences of field cognitive style.
